Hurley + Kittrell Wedding
Today we are spotlighting a wedding to never forget! One of our couples found themselves having to reschedule their Virginia wedding at the last minute due to a hurricane that threatened to hit us here in Virginia. Thankfully it diverted later in the week and it did not inflict the damage we were bracing for. The wedding had already been rescheduled, so the show went on a few weeks later.
As luck would have it, a massive rainstorm hit the area in the days leading up to the wedding. The family took it in stride and guests were ushered to the reception tent in every way imaginable, set with their waders, wellies, and rain boots in hand! Nothing was going to stop this celebration!
Guests were greeted with a showstopping tent design. Kate Franzen with Glint Events worked with the entire vendor team to create a beautiful design and experience to blow everyone away!
This show-stopping floral installation was rigged to our Cloud Truss structure and set over the Black and White Checkerboard Dance Floor.

The Head Table marked the center of the tent. Our Smyth and Orb Chandeliers hung down the length of the table.
Our Sheer White Draping was swagged open for an elegant entrance to the tent. The florist accented the fabric with a floral installation.
We created these Bucket Lights with custom Natural Light Beer Covers as a nod to the Groom’s favorite drink!
This beverage area was complemented by our Pendalights attached under Cocktail Tables.

White-Corded Bistro Lights criss-cross over the guest tables down the entirety of the tent.
The mud would not stop this party from happening! The Bride and Groom danced the rain away in this lighting-studded tent!
